BEATNIK

Beatnik Studios is a photography studio, contemporary art gallery and mixed use event venue. It is located in a wonderful old historic building in the Southside neighborhood of downtown Sacramento.

Beatnik was founded in 2008 by Wes Davis and fellow photographer Lindsay Calmettes.  The idea for beatnik has always been to bring people together in a space where dreams and ideas can come to life.  After 8 years of experimentation, beatnik is stronger than ever.  We are forging our own unique path in the art and event scene in Sacramento.

Beatnik hosts an open house / art reception on the 1^st Friday of every month.  I am always in attendance at the beatnik 1^st Friday events, so please drop by and say hello!
